Oh my god, this was so cute! I had such a lovely time playing it and I loved learning more about the characters <3 This was definitely worth my time and I'm very happy I played.

Cute game, inspiring brew mechanics. Always looking for more tea-related indie content! Thanks for making it.

This game is great. I've played two of your games so far and liked both, so I'm definitely going to explore your backlog at some point. I appreciate that your games cover LGBT topics with nuance.

I covered this on my website, https://www.themissingquests.com/57/a-tavern-for-tea—I hope it can bring a few more players in.

Just finished your game earlier, I have to say that you did a great job. The story is cute and fit the art way too well. I'm looking forward to your games in the future!

Hello, this was a great game, I'm happy it is able to make you replay it a bunch and not bore you, and the story is pretty lovely.

If you're ever interested in translating your game to Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR) I'd be glad to do it (I've translated Hitogotchi if you need a reference). It's just a hobbie for me so I don't charge it, and I'd be really happy to make it easier for more people to play it.

Really cute game, I'm looking forward for more gameplays on this universe, maybe a bigger look at the character's stories, specially the tavern owner, as the game almost doesn't talk about you. <3

hi, thanks for playing - i'm glad you enjoyed it! if you'd like to translate this game please send a mail to hello@npckc.site

This was great! Funny and really well made for the puzzle element in solving how to get the true ending. My partner and I played it together guessing if the person serving the tea is a time traveler, a witch, or some type of time keeper. We really like the various combination of the items to make a tea and out come they produce. We really wanted the 2 people to hook up and in our head canon, they did. ;)

This was very sweet, I liked it a lot! There were a few quality-of-life issues (I can see why people are confused by the "rules" for brewing tea changing suddenly) but I like the writing and the worldbuilding was just subtle enough.

For some reason, I can't put more than one of the same ingredient in the tea :(

Neither can I

you can only do this in certain situations.

Which situation? Because I'm trying to get the last note and I cannot add more than one. Hints please?

Hint: you can put more than one of the same ingredient in the tea :)

thank you!!!

Do you know if it has to be SUPER sour, or just VERY sour?  I made SUPER sour and don't have the patience to run the entire game to try VERY sour.

I can't use Dark tonic twice on one tea.

Try using Tangyberry three times if you haven't.

Such a cute fun game! I loved the characters and story and would love to play any sort of sequel!

This was a really cute! Everything from the interactions to the storyline was spot on. I hope you make more games in the future, and keep doing what you do!

As always, the stylization of your games is fantastic. I also really love that you're always trying new ideas gameplay wise as well! Although I don't use them myself, I'm also glad to see accessibility options for those who need them!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete the game. I got a bit stuck at a certain point and I kind of lost interest when I wasn't progressing or seeing anything new. The trial and error with the tea making is a bit hard to get through. I like the concept that serving them different kinds of tea would make the characters react in different ways but the dialouge that results from this feels far too much the same at some points, especially given that there is a lot of repeating dialouge to get through given the premise of the game.

Hopefully that wasn't too harsh of feedback! :x I'll definitely try going back on my own time to try and complete the game. I really love your games and am always looking forward to seeing what you'll put out next! I made a video with my experiences. Keep up the great work!

if you haven't taken a look yet, the notes page on game gives hints about what needs to be done to proceed.

I went back and managed to get to the end! What a cute ending! Also I feel really dumb since the solution was kinda obvious! I think my feedback is kinda invalid now bahaha. Thanks for the tip!

Whats the recipes for the last two notes?

(1 edit)

Spoilers below for last two notes of the game: (For others who might be reading this lol)

For the second to last note, I believe you have to NOT brew a second cup of tea for the adventurer, then serve Horns his favorite drink. For the last note, you have to put 3 tangy berries and serve that to the adventurer when you offer a second drink to him.

Thanks! Now I can finish it :D

This was AMAZING! I'd love to read any sort of sequel.

Thank you for making this!
