Loved this, in my favourites now. Athough, I was expecting a bit of horror, haha. Still, I loved the wholesomeness of it and the pleasantly surprising trans-rep! :D
This was a really nice visual novel! Loved how despite its fantastical nature, it still teaches the player about the need for self-education and consent, both in medical practices and otherwise. I feel like this is exactly what an edutainment game about blood donation clinics would be like in a world where vampires exist. And that's really cool!
Also Gakuto and Marie are awesome :)
Thank you very much for making this game, and all the best in your future game development!

This was weird. To be honest I started this game with the expectation of something more in the 'normal wholesome layer peeled back to reveal horror' vein of Sweet No Death and Doki Doki Literature Club, so I noticed a few things like how they needed blood, presumably human hence the clinic, but they were so unknown. It's almost like these vampires are an outlying group trying to cover up the fact that most vampires don't care about consent and just didn't let any victims leave alive to tell about it. I absolutely wouldn't trust them, and though I may just be overthinking it there is still absolutely something fishy about this Tomato Clinic.
I absolutely adored this. I actually have a life threateningly severe needle phobia and decided to play this game as part of my therapy to try and start healing. It was so cosy and safe and I loved how much consent there was for each section, especially where blood and needles are involved. I'm going to keep replaying to help me on my journey to heal from a phobia that has taken far too much of my wellbeing away. Thank you so much
Hi! My name is Melikşah, and I am studying translation and interpretation between Turkish and English. I played and finished your game "Tomato Clinic" It was cute. I love it! If you wish I can gladly translate your game from English to Turkish. I think more people should have more awareness about vampires! If you are interested contact me via this email address.
hi!! i downloaded this game years ago, and yesterday i just remembered it again and decided to replay it- the artstyle is just as amazing as i remember!! i love the characters & music, and it's such a cute, comforting game all in all. i wanted to leave a comment just to show my appreciation, thank you so much for making this wonderful game! :))
Just felt like sharing that I did my first blood donation the other day and this game likely influenced that decision, since I still remember it years later.
Hi there! I am creating a collection of fully blind accessible games, and your game is listed under the "blind support tag". The word "blind" means different things to different people, and within that wide spectrum their are various levels of expertise with visual UI's. but as a fully blind gamer, I am wondering what features this game provides for those who can not see the screen at all. Do you have "screen reader" or "text to speech" support? Is your game fully playable with a keyboard or controller, rather than having to point the mouse at buttons on the interface? If the answer to those questions is no, it would still be great to know what options are provided for those with less severe visual impairments, so that I might make them aware of your game's usability for them. Thank you for any information you can provide, it's very much appreciated! :)
the game has minigames that use images, but these can be switched to text-based minigames in the settings. you can press 'v' at any time in-game to turn on self-voicing through your machine. the game should also be fully playable with keyboard or controller. however, i designed it as somebody who is not blind so i may have missed things that could make it more accessible.
Gotcha, thanks for your reply! Some things to consider then are A. vital visuals that are really important to the story or interface should have "alt text" labels. B. Visual indicators like status' on a control that are important for the player to know should also have text. C. All UI elements should be accessible with the keyboard alone [some blind people are decent with the mouse but keyboard support is vital for most[]
Very cute game of vampire world and relationship building! Gakuto for instance warming up as you go was really touching. Plus building trust for the donation part. (Or not if you pick that of course. :P) That also sounded like what I heard regarding actually donating blood so it should do a good job telling others what they will experience. Well, besides the vampire bite part of course, lol! Though I have also heard there's something similar where they numb the area before a stick. But I haven't experienced the process myself because I have always been too nervous (I am very weak to pain plus have anxiety) to try donating.
Not too many paths to take through it though. Whether you get perfect scores or not doesn't alter the dialog much for instance. (But will reorder or skip the re-quiz of course)
Super wholesome and great visual novel! It really was a great story and fun as well! Wish I had more words to describe how nice of a story it was, but it was simple, effective and a beautiful story!
Oh my gosh! All the characters are beautiful, as well as the art style, and the music is just *chef's kiss*.
*MINI SPOILER*
Also, I love Gakuto, and when he said he was trans, I loved him even more. He is one of the most beautiful, and relatable characters I have ever met in a video game.
Haw. THIS STORY IS REALLY EXCELLENT.
Thank you so much for making this experience!!!
It's really resonant in a lotta ways... I love the aesthetic and general vibe of everything! It's super fantastic! Super comfy! Super enjoyable!!!!! And super thoughtful, on toppa everything else...!!!! ALL THE EFFORT PUT INTO THIS PIECE OF EXCELLENCE WAS WORTH IT!!!!!!!!! I wanna emphasize the thoughtfulness tho......
